Join the LOUISIANA STATE CHALLENGE to create a culture of health and wellness in your workplace.
Established by Governor John Bel Edwards in 2019, the State Challenge serves to motivate Louisiana State Employees to get moving. Each state department or agency is challenged to run the Louisiana Marathon 5K or a longer distance for those who are in shape to take on that challenge.
The department or agency with the most miles run during the Louisiana Marathon weekend will be awarded the Louisiana State Challenge traveling trophy, along with bragging rights until a winner is determined at next year's event.
Participants MUST register with the LAEMPLOYEE discount code and list their respective department or agency to officially participate in the challenge. Encourage your colleagues to join the challenge!
