The Louisiana Marathon Organizing Committee welcomes you and your members to the fourth annual Rendezvous at The Louisiana Marathon running festival in Baton Rouge. We are excited to offer your group the following:

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The Louisiana Marathon Finish Festival has taken measures to enhance the post-race food and beverage offerings. Our goal is to ensure all runners have access to great local dishes. More details will be released throughout the year and posted to the appropriate website pages. For now, we are expanding food offerings on Saturday and Sunday and plan to only offer 3-4 selections at a time throughout the day to ensure all marathon runners have access to great local dishes. We are increasing the veggie/vegan, jambalaya and crawfish/pasta Showcase Tents. Runners and fest-goers will day-of access.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 15, 2017 (subject to change)

  • V.I.P Gear Check Opens – 5:30 a.m.
  • Marathon & Half Marathon – 7:00 a.m.
  • Finish Festival  – 9:00 a.m. to 2/3:00 p.m.
  • Opening Act:  9:00 to 11:00  a.m.
  • Main Act: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Awards ceremonies during performance set breaks
  • Louisiana music 1:00 p.m. until…

SATURDAY, JANUARY 14, 2017 (subject to change)

  • Start of the Louisiana 5k and Louisiana Quarter Marathon presented by The Advocate – 8:00 a.m.
  • The start of the Louisiana Kids Marathon 9:30 a.m.
  • Saturday Finish Festival with Food Village & Showcase Tents
  • Inflatables from 225 Inflatables
  • Face Painters
  • Ice Cream and Kid Treats
  • Main Act:  9:00 to 11:00  a.m.
  • Encore Act: Local Kids Jazz Bands from Baton Rouge Schools – 11:00 until 12:30
  • Awards ceremonies during performance set breaks
  • Louisiana Marathon Music 1:00 p.m. until…
  • The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Expo at the River Center 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
