About the Speaker – Beth Ann Telford
Beth Ann Telford was born in Harrisburg, PA. While running the Marine Corp Marathon, she felt a “pop” in her head and was diagnosed with brain cancer in early 2005. After her first brain surgery and learning to run again, Beth Ann ran and finished the 2005 Marine Corp Marathon. Since then she has qualified for and ran three Boston Marathons, finished the Lake Placid Ironman twice, and had the great privilege to compete and finish in the Kona World Ironman Championships in Hawaii in 2013. She has also dedicated herself to promoting awareness about brain cancer and raising funds for research through the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure Race for Hope 5K Run/Walk.

About the Speaker – Hector Picard – No Hands. No Problem. No Excuses
Hector Picard is a motivational speaker and triathlete who lost both arms in an electrical accident 20 years ago. He is a husband, father of four and grandfather. And he is a veteran of 67 triathlons since 2009. Instead of giving up or feeling sorry for himself he decided to “Don’t Stop Living”.
As the founder of DontStopLiving.org, a website setup to inspire others to live life to the fullest, Hector shows us all that life is a gift meant to be enjoyed. On May 25, 2012, he undertook a bike journey from Fort Lauderdale to New York City that was composed of 1,500 miles in 17 days.
A full feature documentary film of this accomplishment will be released in the spring 2013. Hector Picard became the worlds first double arm amputee Ironman August 11, 2012, in NYC.
Tickets for the pasta dinner are $15 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under online and $20 for adults and $8 for children under 10 at the Expo.
