About the Speaker – Hector Picard – No Hands. No Problem. No Excuses

HectorPicardHector Picard is a motivational speaker and triathlete who lost both arms in an electrical accident 20 years ago.  He is a husband, father of four and grandfather. And he is a veteran of 67 triathlons since 2009. Instead of giving up or feeling sorry for himself he decided to “Don’t Stop Living”.

As the founder of DontStopLiving.org, a website setup to inspire others to live life to the fullest, Hector shows us all that life is a gift meant to be enjoyed.  On May 25, 2012, he undertook a bike journey from Fort Lauderdale to New York City that was composed of 1,500 miles in 17 days.

A full feature documentary film of this accomplishment will be released in the spring 2013.  Hector Picard became the worlds first double arm amputee Ironman August 11, 2012, in NYC.
