Welcome to Rendezvous 2016. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Expo at The Louisiana Marathon is the official start to the Louisiana Marathon running festival and the exclusive Packet Pickup and Late Registration area for all runners of the race weekend. We will once again be in the Baton Rouge River Center. Conveniently located on the first floor in the main exhibition hall on the right, exhibitors can simply pull vehicles in through the River Center tunnel on River Rd.
GET INFORMATION AND GREAT DEALS AT THE EXPO
Learn more about the world of running, health & fitness and the products & services from key partners and sponsors of The Louisiana Marathon. We will also have our charity partners present to address any questions about their causes. We invite you to participate in their outreach efforts. The best thing about the expo is that it is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
PACKET PICK UP & LATE REGISTRATION
The Expo is the only place you can pick-up your registration packet. You must present a valid government-issued picture ID to pick up your packet. If the races are not filled to capacity, there will be a registration booth at the expo. There will not be race day registration or race day packet pick-up.
Every participant in the Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5K and Kids Marathon will receive an Official Participant Guide via e-mail in which will a link to receive another confirmation email. There will also be links on the website if you need to receive another confirmation email. Bring a print out of your confirmation email and your photo ID to the Expo to pick up your packet. For The Advocate 5K, only your photo ID is needed.
There will be no race day pick-up available. If you cannot pick up your packet at the Expo, there will be a Proxy Packet Pick-up (picking up a packet for someone else) available. The process for Proxy Packet Pick-up is as follows. The proxy must present a photocopy of the participant’s and the proxy’s government-issued photo ID along with a copy of the participant’s confirmation. The copy of the ID will be retained until the completion of the event weekend as proof of packet distribution. There are no exceptions to this rule. Please see FAQs section of the website for more information.
Registered Participants should receive a confirmation email during the registration process. While the only requirement is that you present your government-issued photo ID, we also recommend either printing your confirmation and bringing it to packet pickup or having a copy electronically available on your mobile device. Quick Tip: You may want to add getmeregistered.com to your email safe sender list to ensure you’re receiving any important communications regarding your participation.
