SPEAKER SERIES: COACH GP- RAISING A RUNNER FOR PARENTS & KIDS // SAT – JAN – 19 // 2013, 12:00PM – 1:00PM

coachgp

A family that exercises together stays together and communicates better. It is important, specifically with
our sport, that parents know how much running a child should be running/training at a specific age, i.e.
what is age appropriate and the technical development (again age appropriate) is much more important
relevant than the cardio pulmonary development. Coach GP is considered one of the top authorities on running biomechanics, and he is the full-time coach to several world-class runners, including Florida’s two-time Olympic marathoner, Ronnie Holassie, and Ajee Wilson, 800 Meter U17 World Champion. Coach GP has completed 26 marathons (17 under three hours) and is currently training to break 2:45 at the 2013 New York marathon at age 50. This is a speaker series you and your family will not want to miss if running part of your lifestyle or simply a hobby.

All RENDEZVOUS Speaker Series events will be held at the Meeting Rooms at The Belle of Baton Rouge
