I looove the Louisiana Marathon. It’s a fast, flat, yet visually interesting course; as it snakes its way from the downtown; along the river; then among the lakes; onto LSU campus; and finally, through historic neighborhoods of Baton Rouge. The small field is talented and dedicated. I had my best Marathon time ever in this race in 2012 running for several charities. I run exclusively for charity, and January 20, 2013 will be no different. Looking to better last year’s time at just under 3hrs. Good luck everyone, and above all else, have fun out there!
